The Second Youth Games of the People's Republic of China was held in 2019, It’s hosted by the General Administration of Sport of the People's Republic of China and undertaked by the people's Government of Shanxi Province.

It is an important part of China's Olympic strategy, and it is the largest and highest standard comprehensive sports event held in Shanxi Province since the founding of New China.

On the evening of August 8th , 2019, it’s an eye-catching and exciting moment, the opening ceremony of the Second National Youth Games was unveiled at the Red Lantern Stadium in Shanxi Sports Center.

Throughout the opening ceremony, in order to better tell the story of Shanxi to the people of the whole country, show the image of Shanxi, the artistic performances highlights the elements of Shanxi and Taiyuan.

The production team broke through the traditional viewing mode and introduced many latest high-tech means in visual presentation, such as full-range ground projection, aerial perspective imaging for large-scale activities for the first time, and virtual reality technology to achieve 720-degree visual effect and immersive performance.

In addition, ACME professional stage lighting XP-380 BEAM II and XP-20R BSW were also selected.

In the rhythmic music, the colorful ACME lights and the dynamic stage elements are combined to create excellent stage lighting effects, which shows the whole stage a youthful, modern and vibrant image, expressing the connotation of sports struggle.

The splendid and magnificent opening ceremony attracted the attention of all quarters and condensed the power of youth.

All the participants overcame difficulties and went all out to provide a high-quality, high-grade, high-tech visual feast that combines time, thought, and artistry with hard work.
