Guangdong is one of the centers of industrial design in China. In 2008, with the approval of the Guangdong Provincial Government, the Guangdong Industrial Design Competition was officially named the ‘Governor’s Cup’. Part of a pioneering initiative in China, the annual competition continues to demonstrate the high priority attached to industrial design by the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government.

In 2018, the ninth ‘Governor’s Cup’ was held, with many companies in the region taking part. ACME and REYN AUDIO entered ACME Lighting’s ‘Four in one professional luminaire’ and REYN AUDIO’s ‘Audio Performance Integration System’ into the competition.

After several months of fierce competition, the award ceremony took place on December 1st.

We were delighted that both ACME's ‘Four in one omnipotent king’ and REYN AUDIO’s ‘Audio Performance Integration System’, won the Outstanding Award, while REYN AUDIO’s ‘Audio Performance Integration System’ also won third prize in the comprehensive category product group!

So, what are the ‘Four in one omnipotent king’ and the ‘Audio Performance Integration System’? Let us introduce them to you:

ACME’s ‘Four in one omnipotent king’ is a new moving head luminaire, the XA-1000 BSWF. This LED-based intelligent lighting fixture combines the four functions of beam, wash, spot and framing. One of the most versatile fixtures in the professional performance lighting market, it is perfectly suited for all kinds of large-scale stage shows and events.

REYN AUDIO’s ‘Audio Performance Integration System’ is a powerful device composed of the RL1 line array speaker system and integrated M1 amplifier. Equipped with high-tech functions including laser positioning and treble horn board, it saves manpower and time during installation and commissioning. What’s more, it is waterproof and dustproof, enabling it to work outdoors day after day, helping the sound engineers to improve their work efficiency.

Now, both products have won Governor’s Cup awards!
