ACME MA Master Class Completed Successfully

Held between 31st July and 2nd Aug 2018, the ‘Designing And Programming Strategies In Large Scale Productions Workshop’, organized by ACME along with MA Lighting and its Chinese distributor ACE, was successfully completed.

During the three-day event, leading South African lighting designers Joshua and Christopher Bolton of design studio Collective Works, delivered an engaging presentation covering their years of professional design work. They interacted with participants, assigning training tasks and provide insightful feedback and advice. All those involved benefited a lot from their insights, including their console operation techniques.

Class review:

ACME was greatly impressed by the knowledge of the lecturers and by the positive attitude of the participants. Each evening, despite the long days of learning, the participants still insisted on going back to the venue to practice the console skills they had learned.

This was a successful workshop not only because of the highly skilled lecturers and eager participants, but also because of the staff behind the workshop who provided support throughout. ACME is very grateful to all its staff, to Joshua and Christopher, and to all the participants who gave such high praise and positive feedback to the event.

For those who would like to be our next classmates, with the production teams behind May Day, Li Yuchun, Gong Shou Dao, Anhui Satellite TV and Zhejiang Satellite TV - please sign up as soon as possible for the next event!
